Little Capers are alternative Super Hero shirts that come with detachable capes. Our company was created by Jossamber Shapiro and Jessica Wise, college best friends who always wanted to start a business together. We came up with the idea when Jossamber's son Jacob, and his friends became obsessed with being heroes. We felt that there had to be a better option than clipping a dishtowel to his shirt, or the commercial polyester pajamas and tees. When we realized there was interest and a need, we created Little Capers. The shirts help our kids immerse themselves in creative play without any preconceived powers or violent connotations.
Little Capers come in short and long sleeve options and in sizes 6 months ( infant shirts do not have capes for safety reasons) up to size 8. We have the following styles: Star Hero ( boy and girl versions), Earth Hero ( boy and girl versions) Lightning Hero (unisex), Peace Hero (unisex), Heart Hero and Flower Hero.
Interesting Tidbits:
Little Capers were recently chosen to be featured in Jayneoni Moore's Hollywood Baby Breakfast Club "It's Spring, Baby!" celebrity gift baskets. (See website for celeb names.) Little Capers were also given as gifts to Brooke Shields and Patrick Dempsey and Teri Polo for thier children. Teri Polo purchased additional shirts from us directly. Peace Hero is our newest design. We are a great option for a halloween costume that can be used beyond halloween. We have many great girl Little Capers.
