Founded by Ashley Richins, a mother of three small children with active imaginations. The idea for "I'm Not Afraid Monster Spray" came to her after a series of sleepless nights in which her preschoolers were afraid to sleep because of the "Bad Elf" monster. And, when they finally went to sleep, they were awoken by "Bad Elf" nightmares.
A friend of Ashley's had a "high-tech" looking silver aluminum atomizer. She made up her formula, put it in the high tech bottle, introduced it to the kids-- and it worked. After she sprayed the pillows and sheets with "monster spray" the kids went quickly to sleep. She learned the lavender fragrance she put in the spray was the reason. Lavender calms, relaxes and promotes a long, deep sleep.
Thus, "I'm Not Afraid Monster Spray" was born.
