The word Winkee, (soon to be a US Trademark) evolved when Patricia Calamari was on a plane returning home from a visit with her oldest daughter. Patty was thinking, "OK...you see it in a blink, but then you don't...like a wink...blinky? Winkee!" Funny too because it was the exact word her little brother used for ladies cleavage when they were children. At a family dinner party she casually mentioned all this to Karla Kennedy. Karla loved the idea, and Patricia said, "You make it Karla, you sew." The next thing you know, Karla had her own light bulb moment with the cute design, and showed up on Palm Sunday dinner 2006, at Patricia's house wearing the Winkee!
