Every item in the Bella Lucca Collection is individually designed by Laurie E. Herbst, and is often inspired by her favorite American or Italian designers. The cold weather coats are fully lined with either a quilted or faux fur fabrication for extra warmth, and are never short on details or style. Every item in the collection is given a name, which reflects the mood of the coat and its inspiration. For example, the "Sherlock Holmes Trench" from the warm weather collection, was inspired by the classic glen plaid trench coat that never goes out of style. The "Sundance Shearling" is the ultimate seamed shearling coat that makes you feel like you are hanging out with beautiful people in Aspen and Sundance. The "Madison Avenue Trench" is one of the Collection’s most popular designs, a warm coat that is waterproof and stylish at the same time. The coats are sized from 6" to 18" inches long, and the harnesses are sized XXS-XL. The carriers come in two sizes, Small and Large. All sizing information is listed on the website, for customer convenience.

Laurie E. Herbst, President and Head Designer of The Bella Lucca Collection, spent 25 years in the women's fashion industry where she was a sweater and woven sportswear designer. Laurie's passion for dogs, and especially for her new puppy, Lucca, inspired her to design and produce dog coats and accessories that reflect her own personal fashion style.
