The Zoom Spoon is an airplane baby spoon that encourages children to open wide. The familiar music it plays and the light in the cockpit make it easier for children to focus on mealtime. The airplane detaches from the spoon to make it easy to clean (dishwasher safe) and then you are left with a toy airplane. The book "Zoom Spoon and Finicky Philip the Picky Eater" entices children by portraying the spoon as a superhero. It also promotes childrens literacy and bonding between caregiver and child.

I've always wanted to invent something and I have a degree in Early Childhood Dev. and Elementary Ed. I watched an Oprah show about 6 years ago on making your dreams come true. I found a need for the Zoom Spoon after visiting with many new parents on their daily hardships during feeding time. I have gotten feedback from many parents thanking me and even a couple nurses saying it is a good "medicine giver".
