The Utterly Yours Breast Pillow was designed by a mom to simplify the nursing process. Available in four sizes, the crescent-shaped cushion is made of high density memory foam and positions the breast upward so that moms no longer need to hold their breast while nursing their baby - providing a hands-free solution. Many women find breastfeeding to be a frustrating endeavor. It often requires moms to physically support their breast during feeding in order for their baby to latch on successfully. Although this is tiresome and painful to the wrist, it also makes it difficult for moms to focus on bonding with their baby and impossible to do other simple tasks like answering the phone. This product addresses a common, yet highly problematic issue by providing the most comfortable and optimal breast position for nursing. It is also conveniently sized to take on the go.
Interesting Tidbits:
Product was created by a mother of three children who nursed all three children for the first year of their lives even though it was a very frustrating activity for her. She dealt with many common challenges of nursing such as constantly having to hold/adjust her breast to provide the optimal feeding position for her baby. After her first child, besides having to adjust and hold her breast while nursing, she had other children to "entertain" as well. With no hands free, this became a difficult task.
Even though she was committed to nursing her children, she had watched too many people give up because of their frustrations. She was determined to figure out a way to make nursing a more enjoyable and seamless process so that moms wouldn't give up. It was through these experiences that she developed the product in hopes of helping other moms not only persist in their desire to breastfeed, but to also succeed in that endeavor.
